G2E 2025 in Vegas: Bright Lights, Big Conversations, and Even Bigger Opportunities

by | Oct 14, 2025 | Events , Computing

The Radeus Labs team joined thousands of attendees in Las Vegas for the Global Gaming Expo (G2E); the premier event for gaming technology and innovation. From the moment the show floor lit up, it was clear the buzz wasn’t just about games, but about the infrastructure powering them. For Radeus, it was an exciting first-time experience that blended serious technical conversations with a lively, community-driven atmosphere.

The Radeus team entered G2E with an open mind, eager to learn how its ruggedized, AI-ready computing fits into the gaming ecosystem, and left with new clarity.

While the team quickly confirmed that single gaming units aren’t a good fit, the conversations that unfolded revealed a massive opportunity in backend systems, data infrastructure, and on-premise AI servers.

Radeus CEO Juliet Correnti was in attendance and remarks:

“It really opened our eyes to how much processing power casinos require. Every slot machine, every camera, every analytics system reports back to a server. The entire floor is essentially one big data network, and that’s right in our wheelhouse.”

Many discussions with our team centered around replacing legacy systems. Casino operators and IT teams spoke about moving away from outdated hardware toward modern, energy-efficient, and secure infrastructure; the kind of reliable, high-performance computing Radeus specializes in.

Casinos Evolving into Data Centers

PXL_20251009_002358985.MPAnother recurring (and surprising) theme was the rise of on-site data centers. Many casinos are beginning to recognize that they already have the core ingredients for localized compute environments: stable power, high-speed connectivity, and physical space.

Rather than depending entirely on the cloud, several operators described plans to build or expand their own data centers directly on casino property. Some are even experimenting with modular or containerized data centers, testing smaller setups before scaling into full facilities.

Radeus’s ruggedized servers, designed to perform in higher-temperature or less controlled environments, sparked considerable interest among these groups. As Radeus Engineer Andrew Correnti explained during the event:

“For casinos that want to start small or run edge-level operations, our systems can handle the environmental demands of these early-stage data centers while maintaining high compute performance.”

The team’s conversations reinforced that casinos are becoming mini data hubs, supporting everything from video analytics to AI-assisted security and real-time transaction monitoring. For Radeus, it highlighted a natural fit: bringing mission-critical reliability from defense and aerospace computing into commercial gaming environments.

Security and Sovereignty on Tribal Lands

There were further interesting conversations with a few tribal gaming organizations in attendance, where security and data sovereignty are critical. Leaders from casinos on tribal lands expressed strong interest in local, on-prem AI servers; solutions that give them full control of their systems without relying on cloud infrastructure. These conversations reinforced Radeus’s belief that on-prem computing isn’t just a preference, it’s a necessity in highly regulated, security-sensitive environments.

Interest in Radeus’s AI-ready servers was strong throughout the week. Visitors to our booth saw firsthand how GPUs and advanced hardware architectures can drive next-generation analytics and video processing.

Our partner, Leading Technologies, showcased NVIDIA Blackwell cards, providing an early look at cutting-edge GPU capabilities that drew significant attention from attendees exploring on-prem AI solutions. Andrew, who helped field technical questions throughout the week, noted:

“People were excited to see we’re running the latest tech, not just what’s available off the shelf. It underscored how far ahead we are compared to most of what’s currently deployed in casinos.”

Strong Partnerships and Great Conversations

Across the show floor and at multiple after-hours events, the Radeus team connected with partners old and new, including DFI and BCM, trusted motherboard manufacturers and potential co-branding collaborators.

Show Floor Shout Outs

We take a moment to give shout outs to folks we made pretty amazing connections with at G2E, including:

Beyond some of the amazing conversations already noted, our team also found inspiration at G2E with the Global Gaming Women (GGW) group, a vibrant community that fosters connection and leadership in gaming and tech. Juliet and Clay both became members during the event, attending a thoughtful session on mental health and digital balance that reminded everyone that innovation is as much about people as it is about technology.

Next Stops: AUSA, NVIDIA GTC, & Telemetry

The Radeus Labs team continues its busy fall schedule with three major events:

  • AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition in Washington, D.C.October 13–15,
    • The largest land power exposition in North America, bringing together defense leaders, innovators, and industry partners to discuss the future of national security and mission-ready technology.
    • To talk to a member of the team already on site, schedule with our Technical Sales Rep in attendance, Clay Moore!
  • Telemetry Conference in VegasOctober 20-23
    • A forum dedicated to data, instrumentation, and observability at scale, exploring how real-time systems and analytics are transforming industries from defense to deep tech.
    • Don't miss The Innovation Horizon: Shaping the Next Generation of Technology Panel at the conference, 8:30AM-10:30AM at Skyview 5/6 at Horseshoe in Vegas. Our CEO Juliet Correnti joins the panel to talk about all things AI!

SATShow 2026: Bigger Crowds, Bigger Conversations, and a Ground Station Industry in Motion

Last week, the Radeus Labs team headed to Washington, D.C. for SATShow Week 2026 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, and by every measure, this year's event delivered. The show was noticeably bigger than previous years, with a wave of new names on the exhibition floor and a palpable energy that reflected just how much the satellite industry is evolving right now.

Voices Driving Innovation: Heather Slotnick's Engineering Approach to Protecting Innovation

When companies come to Heather Slotnick with their IP challenges, they're not hiring a traditional patent attorney. They're hiring someone who solves problems like an engineer.

That mindset comes from somewhere. At General Motors, she debugged electromagnetic interference issues the way an electrical engineer would: understand the constraints, identify which variables matter most, optimize for the outcome, eliminate unnecessary noise. That same methodical approach now defines how she works as Managing Partner at MLO.

Continuous Improvement in Practice: Inside the Shingo Workshop at Radues Labs

shingo workshopLast week, Radeus Labs hosted a Shingo workshop that surfaced a core question: what does it take to improve not just processes, but the behaviors and systems behind them? Teams from across industries gathered at Radeus' facility to work through that question in a practical setting, examining how high-performing operations translate from theory to execution.
